A New Addition to Our Animal Family.

Your probably wondering what I'm talking about with this title well like my blog says this is also about my life.  Well yesterday my wife called me up at work told me my wonderful mother in-law put a dwarf hamster on hold at the local pet store for us.  Well I was like what like we need another animal in the house.  I did not see the little fur ball until after my workout yesterday afternoon when my wife picked me up after buying it.  Well all I can say is he was the cutest little ball of fluff I had ever seen well next to my big shepard when she was a puppy .  Plus also finding out these are extremely clean animals and can actually deter mice from entering your home and living in the country this was quite a good selling point to me as well.  We have named him Chico it kind of suited him.  I have owned teddy bear hamsters growing up as a kid but if you have never seen a dwarf hamster check them out.  These are not your average hand holding types of hamsters more of watch and just enjoy them they are very active and quite playful and of course they are so very cute.  I guess you could say they are an adult hamster not a kids pet unless you have a child that is okay not holding there pet.  If they want to pick it up and pet it etc. I would suggest your basic teddy bear hamster because trust me these little suckers are FAST.  Like I have also stated I love animals and have quite a few.  If I had the cash and more time I would probably have horses I have always loved horseback riding.

God Bless and may you have the love of an animal in your life a pet is known to keep you young and live longer and happier.  I know all my pets make me happy and yes I do feel younger having them.  If you have a pet you know that you could not have anything more loyal and loving and with dogs and even cats protective.

Vanity we are a Society Obsessed with our Looks why not consider what is inside instead of the outside for a change?.

All we ever hear about especially in the tabloids and spackled all over the tv waves is plastic surgery and this celebrity did this and Extreme makeovers etc.  Seriously it is really pathetic and sad to see how rich all of these Dr's are getting by nipping, tucking, sucking, repositioning stuff etc.  All the while the patient is probably dying on the inside.  Really if most of society were to fixate on the positives of living a cleaner life, eating healthier and colonics and other avenues of making your inners look and feel as good as the outerself we would see far less health problems. 

Really we hear about the plastic surgeries so many people go through and then what do we hear the horror stories and the mistakes a person has made.  Like oh why did I do this I have screwed up my looks, I will never look the way I did, or my mom won't recognize me. 
Really if everyone looking at getting plastic surgery were to look at changing their lifestyle first and instead of taking the easy way out and getting Liposuction or a tummy tuck hit the gym and work it off.   Unless however it is leftover tissue from rapid weight loss or a major skin graph for a burn injury and the only way to get rid of this would be plastic surgery then that I feel this is a needed procedure and you should go for it.  

I'm talking about the celebrities and the rich that already have great figures and feel they need to go spend money on some liposuction or some other surgery because they are too lazy to go do some exercise or they think they need to get something done because all of their friends are doing it or just cannot handle the reality of aging.

In actual fact we all age this is a reality yes these are ways to hide the natural aging process but our insides are still aging so even if you look like your 30-40yrs old your body is 50-60yrs old.  So would it not be more important to consider what you eat or drink to keep your organs functioning the best way possible instead of what your face/body may look like. 

If you research it more and more many people have made the claim that the raw food lifestyle is, anti-aging, anti-cancer, anti-illness, and healing/detoxing so would this not.

So if you could just make a few simple changes in your life increase the amounts of fruits and veggies you consume and remove all the meats, dairy, and processed/cooked foods from your diet, and by doing this you put the aging process in reverse,  and also lose some of those unwanted pounds would you not consider this before drastic surgery?.

Now I know some of you who may be reading this are saying really why would I do this when I can just go into a plastic surgeon and say remove this and that, suck this, tuck that, etc.  Because you will be doing the exact same thing a few years down the road.  Instead of actually finding a way to lose some weight naturally and getting into an exercise routine the work that you had done will soon enough return.  Making changes in your lifestyle meaning what you eat/exercise is the only sure fire way to combat weight, stay healthy,  and keep yourself young.

Look at all the studies of healthy older men and woman know what there secret is The Raw Food Lifestyle living illness free, and healthy in their 70's and 80's with the strength of a person 30yrs younger.  So if that doesn't speak volumes to what you can achieve living a cleaner raw food lifestyle I do not know what will.

 I guess you must be someone that just like's taking the easy way out continue going to your surgeon getting procedure after procedure and sucked and tucked every few years who am I too tell you otherwise except it only takes one procedure that you may not wake up.

For myself I would rather stay very far away from any surgery really people DIE having plastic surgery procedures or other weight loss procedures.  Why do you think plastic surgeons have super high charges to cover the malpractice insurance if anything should ever go wrong?.

So the next time your running off to your plastic surgeon consider going to get a colonic instead and maybe some wheatgrass juice or a green smoothie heal your insides because if your rotting away on the inside what does it really matter what you may look like on the outside.

This by no means relays that I'm judging anyone or telling anyone what they should do it simply is a way I personally feel.  I have already had so many awesome changes in my own life living this way I'm just trying to spread the word.  Come on people weight loss is easy if you only consider getting rid of all the junk.

Drastic Surgeries for WeightLoss

Why is it that Dr's have no problem sewing someone's stomach or some other procedure to limit food intake at a obscene cost to the average person.  Though many Dr's seem to have the problem with just telliing there clients to get off their butts and hit the gym and stop eating all the greasy fat laden foods and have some salad instead or fresh fruits and veggies.  I have theory behind this I believe that most Dr's realize that they would most likely be going out of business or have limited clietele if they told their patients that eating raws fruits and veggies and getting rid of meats, dairy and, refined bread products could extend their life and make them healthier.  If they were to do this then the other big corporations around the planet like the FAST FOOD INDUSTRY, DAIRY FARMERS, MEAT PRODUCERS, WAREHOUSE BAKERIES, PROCESSED FOOD DISTRIBUTERS, AND OF COURSE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES  WOULD BE LOSING BILLIONS IN REVENUE.  Also the Dr's themselves would not be getting rich taking care of the ill since there be no need for mainstream healthcare because everyone would be strong, healthy, and off most major medications since most of the illnesses big and small can be contributed to the foods we eat or the lack of the ones we should be consuming.

So think of this if third world countries and cultures all over the world have been living without a major health care source do you know the reason for this it has been researched and most of these small communities live off the land meaning they are eating local fruits and vegetables that and are organically grown and are free from pesticides that are still widely used in big corporate farms.

So if society can look and see that these people living very sheltered lives and away from the general reality/and influences of corporate greed in North American Living,  and are striving and living longer then most of the planet should we not all take notice of this and maybe take some ideas from these people and places.

Just my opinion though in reality I think if we were to consider getting rid of the fast food restaurants on this planet we call home and replace them with healthy alternatives like RAW CAFEs, Restaurants, and Green Juice/Smoothie Bars we would see a huge difference in the quality of life and a reverse of many illnesses that are affecting the general population for example diabetes, obesity, KIDNEY AND ORGAN FAILURE and even CANCER.

Raw Hummus Recipe:

Now I know some of you are probably thinking what is so great about hummus.  Really do you actually have to ask that question.  Hummus is probably one of the tastiest dips/spreads on the planet and it is packed full of healthy fats, protein, fiber.  Then put on top of that the versatility of this concoction there are endless types of hummus that can be made.  Start with the original version of hummus as a starter/base then the flavour implications are mind boggling.  If you like creamy and want some extra healthy fats throw in an avocado and this also helps to drop the amount of olive oil being used also helps if you have made it too runny.  If you like fire breath add some hot peppers/or sprinkle some cayenne or chili flakes, if your looking for more of an east indian style add some curry powder and some mango chunks.

Now that is just a sample there are so many so here are some of my favorite blends:

For my Greens Hummus: I add parsley and cilantro and some spinach this makes it almost like a spinach dip minus the animal based products that your average spinach dip has like mayonnaise,cream cheese, and sour cream.

For the Garlic Lovers Blend: add more garlic and extra cracked pepper,  (if your not raw use some roasted garlic). 

Mixed veggie varietie like carrots, broccoli, celery, red onion to increase the veggies in your families diet.
IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO MAKE YOUR OWN AND TO USE SPROUTED CHICK PEAS THEN YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING INTO IT NO SURPRISES.  DO NOT USE BASIC TABLE SALT ALWAYS TRY TO USE SEA SALT WHEN YOU NEED TOO USE IT TASTES BETTER AND NOT IODIZED.   I know the store bought is faster and less complicated and maybe it's creamier as well, though it is cooked and processed and contains all those unpronouncable preservatives and of course salt up the whazooo.  Sprouting dried chick peas is time consuming and the end product that can be used may take 3-5 days but all of the benefits are totally worth it.  DO NOT USE CANNED CHICK PEAS THESE ARE COOKED OF COURSE AND PACKED WITH EVEN MORE ADDED SALT.   IF YOU MUST USE COOKED BY THE DRIED CHICK PEAS SOAK THE AMOUNT YOU NEED OVERNIGHT THEN RINSE AND FOLLOW COOKING INSTRUCTIONS USUALLY ON BAG.

I hope you will try hummus if you haven't already and get your kids hooked on this yummy dip instead of those mayo or milk based varieties.  Really what can I say the first time I tried this delicious concoction my tastebuds went crazy in a very excited way.

Raw Foods The More You Eat Them The More you Crave Them

Truly this has been a journey the last few weeks.  I have eaten more fruits and veggies in the last few weeks then I probably ate in a few months in the past.  Though everyday that goes by makes me want to consume these wonderful fruits and veggies even more.  I know many people are probably saying this well except for the raw foodies how can you just eat primarily fruits and veggies, simply they give your body what it needs almost immediately.  Since your body doesn't to convert any of the properties of the fruits and veggies like it has to with meat proteins, your body is able to digest and use the amino acids, antioxidants, and other beneficial properties shortly after consumption.  Have you ever noticed how much energy you have after eating a piece of fruit or why so many people who exercise eat a piece of fruit right after their workout?.  The reason is because of everything I just said.  Fruits give and energy as well as replace energy that you may have used.   Then of course add some leafy greens like spinach or kale and you have the healing properties of the green foods one of the many reasons so many raw foodies love green smoothies and juices.   Really it is also the reason your body starts to crave these foods more and more because your body is finally getting the nutrients, minerals and other properties it needs to function properly.   It also starts to remove all the junk in your body removing a lot of the toxins that you ingested and by doing this makes you more sensitive to the toxins in meats, dairy, and processed foods therefore when you eat them after being raw for awhile your body is trying to reject them or at least making you feel a little nauseous  

A lot of raw foodies call raw the good living whole foods I also agree with this statement.  Like all the other posts I have written live this way lose weight, feel great and get your body back to a better you.  If you do not believe fast food and junk can kill watch Super Size Me and then say that.

Remember if you have acne or problem skin it is usually because your body is clogged full of crap which is making your kidneys and liver toxic and your skin outbreaks are a sign of this.  Put down the slice of pizza or box of New York Fries and grab a salad; and let those pounds fall off your waistline and make yourself feel great and also reduce your chances of that mid-life heart attack.

I have personally found that over the time I have started eating more and more fruits and veggies my body is pushing me towards them than anything else.  If your brain and your body are saying I want that it tastes good and your feeling great and full of energy and more focused why wouldn't you eat more and more of these life giving foods.  Wishing you all the best in your health goals and life plans.  God Bless.



Well my first break from no meat as an experiment.

So today as an experiment I thought I would have a little meat not actually meat persay but had some canned tuna.  All I can say is man I wish I had not done it.  My stomach is doing the topsy/turvy and well I feel bogged down and well weak and the energy I had from the fruit I had for breakfast seems to have been used up to process this dead protein.  Needless to say my experiment was a success I can say for certain that cooked foods especially meats make you weak and tired and also make you feel ill.  So from this day forward meats is a BIG FAT NO for me.  This was a little temptation as well I will not lie to you I have always loved canned tuna but just so you know I did have it on some romaine lettuce with some salsa.  So I still had my raw with it.  Like I said I wanted to see how it would make me feel and I knew it wasn't going to be beef/pork/or chicken or some other kind of meat.  Fish in general is healthy for you so I figured this would be the most logical choice for this experiment. 

So for all of you other raw foodist's out there that know this and are probably saying you ate what
I say so what even raw foodists that have been doing this lifestyle for decades have eaten an egg or something because they had no other choice and felt their body could use the protein.   All I can say again this was a personal experiment for myself to see the after effects on my own body after consuming some kind of cooked dead flesh.

I actually would recommend it too alot of people who are transitioning to this diet to do it for yourself and see how bad this junk really is on your system.  Consider doing it though when you have taken all cooked foods out of your diet especially meats for atleast a month.  It has been a month and a half for me.
